Luminous blue icebergs glow like embers in the setting sun, perfectly mirrored in a glacial lake. The ice formations look like ghostly figures, shape-shifting before our eyes. This is Iceland’s “glacial river lagoon”, which sits at the edge of a rapidly receding glacier. The lake is four times bigger than it was in the 1970s; it’s now Iceland’s deepest lake.
