Tyson Parks

Light plays across the morphing, undulating surface of this shape-shifting, moving image. This mesmerizing work is a transformation of the idea of 'sculpture' from a physical three-dimensional object into a journey through space-time. The artist calls his digital renderings “branes,” conceiving of each as a potential four-dimensional sculpture that could be produced under more transcendental conditions — conditions that include the element of time as a possible component to the idea of sculpture.
